Andrea Ballarin: “An Englishman in New York”

Union Lido has many souls: a fun and energetic one, a wild one, one all about nature and relax…and last but not least the Art&Park Hotel soul, where art and luxury come together to create the perfect holiday. And who better than our Andrea could be the COO of this important part of Union Lido?

We could tell you many other of stories about his experiences, his explorations of the different receptions of various luxury hotels both in Italy and abroad, his trips to seaside resorts, to the mountains, cities of art and European capitals. But what defines Andrea the most is definitely his savoir-fare: the composed kindness that he got during his years in London.

You will find him ready to welcome you at the entrance of the Art&Park Hotel: he will always greet you with a smile and provide all the information you need to make the most out of your stay. Why don’t you stop for a second and talk with him? You will realise that he is the right person at the right place.

Amidst this hectic world, where everything goes fast and social media interactions prevail, Andrea will always stand for slow conversations with a good cup of tea instead of a videocall, for a jazz improv instead of Justin Bieber’s pop song.

His savoir-faire, his skills and his great passion for tourism made him the great Art&Park Hotel Manager that he is today and has been for 17 years. When asked about his job, Andrea will always answer: “ The most interesting part of my job is getting to know guests, understand their needs and always offer the best solutions for them.” If “manners make the man” as someone said, we can definitely describe Andrea (as Sting sang) an Englishman in New York.
